Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Bears.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bears did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most.

McNeil-Warren at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They are betting World proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
