A costly weekend of dealing drags the Texans to a D-.

The Jared Wiley selection is the head-turner. The Texans reached 59 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They banked enough surplus on Jacobs to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Adding Trey Smith by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
