The Steven Parker pick is the one that will follow the Colts into the fall. They took him 81 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Mullings falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
