Reaching for Powell-Ryland left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
