Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Texans never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Slaughter pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The cost of the Miller reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
