The Colts did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Devin Neal fell into Round 6, Pick 12. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

Reaching for Dart left real value on the table behind him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The veteran additions, T.J. Hockenson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
