The Colts did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Luke McCaffrey fell into slot 193.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
