The Colts did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Josh Proctor fell into the Round 7 slot. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Reaching for McGregor left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
