They will need Gray to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
