Somebody in Round 7, Pick 16 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Colts sat still while Curtis Jacobs, the No. 209 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Sinnott left real value on the table behind him.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
