You could see the war room lean forward. Kingsley Suamataia at the 82nd pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
