Draft Grade — Colts
Overall
B

FutureB-
The Colts let Ulofoshio fall and pounced. Final grade: B. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Edefuan Ulofoshio, the No. 160 name on the board, stolen at the 193rd overall pick.
Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with running back, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Eboigbe to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Malik Nabers
In the 15th pick they get a true top target, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick46
Rnd2
Terrion Arnold
Circle this one: Terrion Arnold at the Round 2 slot is a fall that decides a draft. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick82
Rnd3
Maason Smith
A want over a need in the 82nd overall pick: Maason Smith adds a DT-EDGE while running back, tight end and other spots keeps waiting.
Pick118
Rnd4
Justin Eboigbe
Justin Eboigbe at No. 118 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick150
Rnd5
Cole Bishop
Cole Bishop at pick No. 150 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick193
Rnd6
Edefuan Ulofoshio
You do not let a linebacker like Edefuan Ulofoshio reach slot 193 and blink. They did not. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick232
Rnd7
Sam Hartman
Sam Hartman at Round 7, Pick 12 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
