Strong should have been long gone. The Colts pounced, and earned a B-.

Somebody in pick No. 191 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Colts sat still while Dorian Strong, the No. 163 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
