The Colts spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Erick All, the No. 203 name on the board, in the 234th overall pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The Colts indulged a want in Melton while a need in quarterback, running back and other spots stayed open. They are betting Rouse proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
