The Packers won the night they stopped Pegues from sliding. Grade: D.

The Packers lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Hairston to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. However the rest shakes out, Pegues at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
