Braswell should have been long gone. The Colts pounced, and earned a B+.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Colts, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They banked enough surplus on Braswell to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
