Boards are made to be trusted, and the Colts shredded theirs for C.J. Hanson. He came off 33 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with quarterback and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting Hopper where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
