The Colts clearly saw something nobody else did in Zion Logue, taking him 52 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They banked enough surplus on Newton to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
