The Cowboys drew a line under the quarterback search with Sanders: D.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cowboys took Phillip Webb a full 117 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.

On value alone, Watts makes the weekend a net positive.
