The Patriots lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A F, plain and simple.

So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

The Williams pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
