You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Jasheen Davis in pick 220.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Edwards. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
