Best value of the weekend goes to the Jets for Mateer: B.

When a board-topper like John Mateer slides to pick 104, you do not overthink it, and the Jets did not. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Reaching for Brown left real value on the table behind him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
