The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bills reached some 34 spots for Sai'vion Jones, and value like that does not grow back. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Emmanwori that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
