The Texans got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Texans did exactly that with T'Vondre Sweat in the 30th overall pick.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

That Simpson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
