The Browns got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the B.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Browns took Kyle McCord a full 116 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

That Sampson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
