Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Browns kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Kedon Slovis at pick 243 is 71 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Sainristil at that price is a win they earned. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick54 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Edgerrin Cooper in the 54th overall pick. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick86 Rnd3 Mike Sainristil
Mike Sainristil in pick No. 86 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick155 Rnd5 Jaheim Bell
Jaheim Bell at the 155th pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick205 Rnd6 Kendall Milton
Kendall Milton at Round 6, Pick 30 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick238 Rnd7 Bub Means
They talked themselves into Bub Means at slot 238, and the board did not agree. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick243 Rnd7 Kedon Slovis
They reached into another round for Kedon Slovis, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
