Start where it matters. The Saints took Jaxson Dart to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

They will need Dart to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
