Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Giants came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Nico Collins leading the way.

Landing Slaughter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Every board in the league had Jatta lower, and that gap is the story.

Bottom line, with Jake Slaughter leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
