Chrisosman74 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Seahawks: B-. The Seahawks went off the board in a big way for Jalin Conyers, 141 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
On value alone, Wilson makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Armand Membou
In the 18th overall pick they get a long-term starter on the line at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick50
Rnd2
Quinn Ewers
They reached a country mile for Quinn Ewers at slot 50, and the board is aghast. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick52
Rnd2
Donovan Ezeiruaku
They liked Donovan Ezeiruaku enough to skip the value, taking him in Round 2, Pick 20. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick82
Rnd3
Mason Taylor
Mason Taylor at pick No. 82 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick92
Rnd3
Jaylin Noel
Jaylin Noel in the 92nd pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick137
Rnd4
Jared Wilson
They barely believed it either: Jared Wilson still on the board at the Round 4 slot. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick172
Rnd5
Jack Nelson
Jack Nelson at the Round 5 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick175
Rnd5
DJ Giddens
Nice patience on DJ Giddens, who had no business lasting to slot 175. The roster fit checks out.
Pick185
Rnd6
Kyle Williams
The board had cheaper options than Kyle Williams at the 185th pick, and it noticed. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick234
Rnd7
Jalin Conyers
A big swing on Jalin Conyers at pick No. 234, well ahead of any board in the building. A need, and now a little less of one.
