The 49ers let Bassa fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the 49ers were there to profit. Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 122 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 230. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The McLaughlin reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
