A sensible, unshowy class lands the Chiefs a B-.

Thirty-one other rooms let Matt Goncalves slide, and the Chiefs were the ones holding the card at Round 4, Pick 26. Highway robbery. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Muhammad pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, running back and other spots.
