The Chiefs checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The Chiefs looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jordan Whittington at Round 7, Pick 27 regardless, 32 picks early. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
