The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chiefs and Smith: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chiefs were there to profit. Ainias Smith, the No. 157 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 204th overall pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Whittington has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
