Overall B

No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Chiefs.

There is a lot to like until you notice tight end is still a hole. The Chiefs never got to the one that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The cost of the Coleman reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Getting Cross III where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Keon Coleman
In the Round 1 slot they get a home-run threat at receiver, even if it was a touch early. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick58 Rnd2 Cooper DeJean
Cooper DeJean at the 58th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick89 Rnd3 Kiran Amegadjie
They paid a round early for Kiran Amegadjie in No. 89, more than the board wanted. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick125 Rnd4 Howard Cross III
They let Howard Cross III come to them and pounced at Round 4, Pick 25. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
