The Chiefs kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

Priorities are a choice, and the Chiefs made a strange one, taking Maason Smith at DT-EDGE in slot 91 with quarterback, running back and other spots crying out for the pick instead.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
