The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Chiefs reached some 61 spots for J. Michael Sturdivant, and value like that does not grow back. Put together, it is a D-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Sadiq value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, offensive lineman very much included.
