More right than wrong for the Chiefs, and a B to prove it.

The Chiefs did not so much draft Wesley Williams as overpay for him, 62 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That Reese pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
