The rest of the league had time to spare on DJ Uiagalelei; the Chiefs did not wait, grabbing him 32 spots ahead at Round 7, Pick 32.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. That Simpson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
