A passer of the future in Williams, and a D-, for the Bears.

The Bears torched the value chart for Aaron Lewis, taking him 56 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Caleb Williams is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
