Nobody dealt better than the Bears this weekend: A-.

The real work happened on the phones. The Bears fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

Allen has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

Jordan at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
