The pick that carries the class is Chandler Rivers, a cornerback the Raiders were happy to stop sliding in the 102nd overall pick. Patience, rewarded. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Shelton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
