A sensible, unshowy class lands the Chiefs a B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jaydon Blue, the No. 173 name on the board, stolen at the 216th overall pick. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Travis reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

The Chiefs indulged a want in Parrish while a need in tight end, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
