Somebody in the 216th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chiefs sat still while Jaydon Blue, the No. 173 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The Travis reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Chiefs indulged a want in Parrish while a need in tight end, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
