Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chiefs sat still while Isaac TeSlaa, the No. 225 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Every board in the league had Parrish lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
