Fat Pat's Crew DRAFTING FOR THEChiefs

Best value of the weekend goes to the Chiefs for Gordon II: B-. Call it larceny. Ollie Gordon II sat on the board until pick 233, and the Chiefs did not need to be asked twice.
Travis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.
Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Tyler Booker
In pick No. 31 they get a blindside protector at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick63
Rnd2
JT Tuimoloau
Value with a capital V on JT Tuimoloau in the 63rd pick, a genuine coup. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick66
Rnd3
Darien Porter
Darien Porter at Round 3, Pick 2 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick95
Rnd3
Charles Grant
Charles Grant in slot 95 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick133
Rnd4
Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore at pick 133 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick233
Rnd7
Ollie Gordon II
They will replay Ollie Gordon II at No. 233 for years; that is how good the value is. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick251
Rnd7
Marcus Yarns
A reach for Marcus Yarns in the 251st overall pick; a little patience would have been rewarded. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick257
Rnd7
Jalen Travis
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jalen Travis well ahead of where he belonged. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
