Maye is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a B+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. However the rest shakes out, Zinter at that price is a win they earned. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Adding Will Hernandez by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
