The Chargers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jared Wilson, the No. 106 name on the board, in the Round 4 slot. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Chargers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
