The Chargers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Devin Neal, the No. 84 name on the board, in the Round 6 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Reaching for Caldwell left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
