Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Corey Kiner got past him. The Chargers do not have to explain a thing at the Round 7 slot. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Taylor reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
