You could see the war room lean forward. Jordan Magee at No. 253 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The cost of the Wallace reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
